Theatres and actors flourished in Lincolnshire in the period 1730 to 1850 and this talk will describe their exotic world.   Several companies of actors toured circuits of theatres in this county and adjacent places until "Victorian Morality" closed all theatres but one - only Lincoln’s Theatre Royal survived. Our expert speaker will be wearing 18th century costume.
