Recorded Talk - Planning and Organising your Family History Research with Helen Tovey

Helen Tovey is the editor of the Family Tree Magazine
Make your life simpler, and get better research results – with a simple research plan and a set of steps to keep your family history well organised.
In her talk, Helen Tovey will cover how to:
Make a do-able family history plan – for more effective research
Keep your findings usefully recorded – to save you time
Get your family history organised – from mess to masterpiece!
The tips and tactics are suitable for those new to family history and to those who’d value a hand getting a bit (or a lot) more organised. Helen is not a naturally super-organised soul, so these are things she’s tried herself and found to work. So even if you aren’t a born-organised angel there is hope for your family history yet. The talk will include fun and instructive interactive elements and Helen would welcome discussion at the end – for us all to share ideas and views on the topic of planning and organising our family history research.
The recording of this talk has kindly been provided by Lincoln Branch and will be available in the Members Only Area for two weeks (until the 26th April).
