The Journals section contains the following:
- Latest edition of the Lincolnshire FHS Journal in both a "flip book" version which mimics a real book on the screen and a version in Adobe PDF which needs the software to be on your device to read it, but means you can read it offline anywhere you like. Both versions can be printed on your own printer if you wish. The flip book version can be zoomed in, made full screen, searched and even has an authentic "page-turning" sound effect if you wish. How you view the PDF version will depend on which PDF reader software you have and how it is configured.
- Archive editions of the Society Journals going back to the year 1999 (the earlier editions to March 1990 when the Society started will be added later) are available in PDF format and the more recent editions from March 2018 are also available in flip book format.
- There is a comprehensive index for the Society Journals from the first issue in March 1990 to the most recent edition. The index comprises of Surnames, Places and Subjects - an excellent place to start and see if anything about your interests have been published in the 35 years since the Society started. Search the index, make a note of the reference, open the archive copy of the journal at the relevant page and enjoy (copies of articles in journals that are not yet available online can be provided on request).
- Articles contributed by members and from other sources. Some articles are simply too long or don't display well in the printed journal or an article has been published elsewhere and we have been given permission to re-publish it as it is likely to be of interest to our members.
- Exchange Journals - digital versions of other societies' journals are published here to make them available to our members as a member benefit. For those societies that only send us paper copies, these are available in the Resource Centre for visitors to view.
