The Recorded Talks section speaks for itself - some of the talks given to Society branches have been recorded and made available to members anywhere in the world for a limited period (usually two weeks). This is of particular benefit to members who either don't live near a Society branch or are unable to attend meetings to enjoy some of the excellent speakers that deliver talks on varied and interesting subjects. Availability of recordings does depend on the agreement of the speaker and willing volunteers to help with the technicalities. Any handouts provided by the speaker are also available to read in this section.

The recorded talks from 2024 and 2025 include the following:

  • Greener Pastures
  • Lincoln's Typhoid Epidemic
  • Thomas Cooper Of Lincolnshire
  • The Owd Boy and the 'Oss
  • Free Antiquarian Resources on the Internet
  • From Lincoln To Krakatoa
  • Lives On The Open Waves with Dr Nicholas Dixon
  • Historic Graffitti in Lincolnshire
  • A to Z of Family History
  • Mud and Stud Houses in Lincolnshire
  • Sons of the Soil
  • Exploring the Folklore of Lincolnshire
  • Watermills of Sleaford
  • Female Highwaymen with Bob Massey

and many more...(with grateful thanks from a "remote member" to the speakers who gave their permission and the volunteers who did so much more than "push the right button at the right time")
